When Diesel’s Renzo Rosso bought New York Industrie, he made clear to us that he wasn’t overly fond of the name of that clothing label. To remedy to that unusal constraint, we decided to create a new logo that would be made of a repetition of the name, with a subtle gradient in the weight of the font.
